How much does a tire swap cost in Toronto?

At our shop at Leslie and Eastern, an on-rim seasonal swap is $60 & up, an off-rim swap is $120 & up for a set of four, and winter tire storage is $100 & up per season. Which one you need depends on whether your winter tires have their own rims.

On-rim swap: $60 & up

If your winter tires are already mounted on their own set of rims, we take one set of wheels off and put the other set on. It's the quickest and cheapest option, and it's easier on the tires because they never come off the rim.

Off-rim swap: $120 & up

If you only have one set of rims, each tire has to be taken off the rim, the other tire mounted, and the wheel balanced. It takes longer, which is why it costs more. If you swap twice a year, a set of steel rims for your winter tires often pays for itself in a few seasons.

Storage: $100 & up per season

We keep your off-season set at the shop, so it isn't taking up space in a condo locker or the trunk. When it's time to swap back, your tires are already here.

Other things that can come up

  • TPMS sensors: if the tire pressure light stays on, a sensor may need replacing ($80 & up per sensor)
  • Flat repairs: $25 & up
  • New tires in any size, and steel rims: call for a quote
  • Wheel alignment if the car pulls or the tires wear unevenly: $150 & up

Why the prices say "& up"

These are starting prices in CAD, taxes extra. Larger wheels, trucks and some low-profile tires take more time. We confirm your exact price before any work begins.
